Lectra to show full range at WSA

France-based technology provider Lectra is currently showcasing its complete range of solutions for the footwear, luggage and leathergoods markets at the Materials at WSA Expo and Conference. The show runs February 12-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The range will include its latest version of Romans Cad, which allows for real-time modification, validation and collaboration, will be on display. According to Lectra, its Romans Cad Software Data Management is the only PDM (product data management) software dedicated to footwear that is currently on the market. It is said to significantly accelerate the collection creation process as it allows real-time sharing between decision-makers, designers, suppliers and customers of all data generated during the design phase of new products.Other solutions on show will include the Contour Lumiere 2, a key element in optimising leather cutting for prototypes and small runs. It can be disconnected from the production machines if necessary, and optimises cutting times by allowing the combination of manual and automatic nesting of specific pieces, offering good process flexibility.
