Lanvin to appoint ex-Moschino CEO
23/01/2009
Ex-Moschino chief executive officer Thierry Andretta is to move to high-end fashion and accessories brand Lanvin as executive vice-president.
Chief executive, Paul Deneve, was reported to have left Lanvin in December because of differences of opinion with owner, Taiwanese media entrepreneur Shaw-Lan Wang.
The company's business development director, Frederick Lukoff, had already announced his departure; he will become the new president and CEO of Stella McCartney in February.
Lanvin achieved full-year sales of EUR 108 million in 2007, and was predicting growth of 30% for 2008 thanks to a good performance in its leathergoods division.
Mr Andretta has held senior management posts at Gucci Group and LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. He left Moschino at the end of 2008 after two years in charge.
