Tandy Leather Factory to open Tuscon store

Specialist leather retailer Tandy Leather Factory has announced that it opened a new retail store in Tucson, Arizona in mid-January. This is the first of an expected four store openings in 2009 and brings the number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 74.
Chief executive, Ron Morgan, commented: “We are excited to be opening a Tandy Leather retail store in Tucson. It should be a nice complement to our Leather Factory wholesale store located approximately six miles away. We have a solid retail customer base in the Tucson area and believe we can expand that base with a local store. Krystal Wright will be managing the new store. She has been training in our Austin store for six months under one of our best training managers and has several years of customer service experience in the retail industry. I have no doubt that she will do well managing her own store.”
