Glove Federation has new president

The French Glovemakers' Federation has appointed a new president.

The organisation's general assembly, comprising glove-makers from Saint-Junien, Millau and Grenoble, in December elected Jean Strazzeri to the position, succeeding Paul Rigaudy, who had been president for 25 years.

For 30 years, Mr Strazzeri has been running the Lesdiguières-Barnier company in Grenoble. He won a prize as France's best glove-maker in 2000, and Liliane Bettencourt award for manual skills in 2003.
