New appointments at Fenac

There have been changes at the company that organises the Fimec international leather exhibition in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, which takes place this year from March 24–27.
The organising company, Fenac, which is partly owned by the city of Novo Hamburgo, has appointed a new president and new board of directors. The city’s mayor, Tarcísio Zimmermann, has announced that ex-director of the Brazilian Institute of Leather, Footwear and Leathergoods Technology Centre (IBTeC), Ricardo Michaelsen, is to be the new director-president of Fenac.
Elivir Desian, ex-mayor of neighbouring town of Estância Velha, has been appointed managing director.
