New technical centre almost ready

A new technical centre for the leather industry is on the point of opening in Campo Grande, the capital of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
Work on the building finished at the end of 2008 and the specialist equipment the centre will use has begun to arrive. Its director, Luiz Eduardo Blasi, has told local media that he expects everything to be up and running in February.
