Italian associations club together

A number of Italian associations have joined together to approve a joint policy document in support of industrial investment, employment and income for firms and employees in the Italian leather, footwear, textile, clothing and accessories sectors.
Those involved include: Vito Artioli (Anci), Stefano Acerbi (Confartigianato Moda), Cannara Giorgio (Aimpes), Valeria Fedeli (FILTEA-CGIL) Giorgio Gardens (Tessilivari), Salvatore Luca (CLAAI), Romano Natali (Casartigiani), Pasquale Rossetti (Uilta-UIL), Luigi Rossi (CNA Federmoda), Sergio Spiller (FEMCA-CISL), Vittorio Tabacchi (ANFAA) and Michele Tronconi (Sistema Moda Italia).At the same time, they signed a letter to be sent to Silvio Berlusconi, Gianni Letta (state secretary of the council), Giulio Tremonti (minister for economy and finance), Maurizio Sacconi (minister for labour, health and social policy) and Claudio Scajola, minister for economic development, asking for: "An urgent meeting to deal with the fallout of heavy global crisis, financial, economic and social enterprise sector."
