A large number of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world are expected to attend the all African Leather Fair (AALF), which will take place January 20-22, 2009 at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The first ever AALF ran January 24-26, 2008, and was considered a big success by organisers. Participants travelled from many African nations, including Botswana, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zambia, as well as from further afield. Exhibitors showcased a range of goods at the fair including finished leather, leathergoods, footwear, chemicals, machinery, components and accessories.
