The sixth edition of the Shanghai International Leather Materials, Technology and Equipment Exhibition is set to take place on May 18-20, 2009.

The event, which will be held at the Shanghai Everbright Exhibition Center, was last held June 18-20 in Shanghai Mart, covering an area of 12,000 m². Exhibitors came from far and wide to participate, with 520 businesses represented and more than 35,000 visitors turning up, according to organisers.

A number of technical seminars will take place at the upcoming edition and a new product launch meeting will also be held. Gold, silver and bronze prizes will be awarded for products that the organisers deem to be exceptional.
