LGR announces seminar theme

26/11/2008

Every year in March, Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen (LGR), the German tanning school and research institute, runs a seminar to review the latest in leather technology. The event is targetted at tanners.

The 2009 event will be the thirty-sixth that the institute has run and will take place from March 10-12 in Reutlingen.

The seminars follow a three-year cycle relating to the main sections in leather production, and also provide an excellent opportunity for discussion among experts.

Next year, the theme will be post-tanning processes.

LGR has pointed out that the seminars are becoming increasingly international, with many talks taking place now in English as well as in German. In 2008, 120 participants from 14 different countries attended.

The registration fee for 2009 will be €340.
