Call for papers for Turkish symposium

18/11/2008

The department of leather engineering at Ege University in Turkey is organising a leather industry symposium—covering progressive technologies and the environment—in Izmir next year.

The event itself will take place between April 29 and May 1, but the organisers have asked for prospective speakers to submit by December 15 abstracts of the papers they would like to present.

Successful applicants will receive notification of the approval of their abstracts by February 15 and will have until March 15 to submit their full papers.

The topics that are of greatest interest to the organising team are clean technologies and innovations in leather manufacturing, treatment techniques and technologies, health and the ecosystem in the leather industry, waste management, environmental regulations, quality control and innovations in machinery.

Papers can be submitted in English or Turkish. A full list of guidelines is available at the link below.
