Several Brazilian shoe brands are to attend Foot Wear Expo 2008, which runs November 3-5 in Dubai. Brazilian exhibitors at the event will include J. Jacometi, Francajel, Luiza Barcelos and Malu.

According to Abicalçados, shoe exports from Brazil to the Middle East exceeded $32.5 million (3.1 million pairs) between January and September, effectively triple the value compared with the same period in 2007.

The fair has already received confirmation from 70 manufacturers representing 17 countries and products on show will include low-to-medium and medium-to-high priced shoes, leather products and leather accessories.
