New China leather zone formed

A new leather zone has been established in Chihu, China. A total of 61 leather projects have settled in the Leather Industry Park, which forms part of Chihu Industrial Zone, which covers a total area of 12.41 km².

The leather zone covers 2.41 km² and involved an investment of three billion yuan ($439 million). It is estimated that the zone will generate an annual output of 100 billion yuan when it becomes fully operational, with revenues exceeding 400 million yuan.
