Several companies from Pakistan plan to participate in two upcoming leather events, one in India and other in Mexico.

The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) is considering establishing a national pavilion to appear at India International Leather Fair, held in Chennai from January 31-February 3, 2009, and ANPIC, held in Leon from February 19-22. Companies forming part of the pavilion will present various types of finished leather for shoes, garments and leathergoods.

The pavilion has already been approved by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
