SMEDA marks ten successful years

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) recently celebrated its 10th year in existence. Since it was established it has invested approximately Rs15.34 billion ($190.8 million).

These investments took the form of lending schemes or various small and medium sized industries from the leather and footwear, textile, garment, carpet and other sectors. This has helped to create new job opportunities as well as helping trade to develop.
