Five Brazilian leather machinery manufacturers will participate at Tanning Tech, which is to be held in Bologna from October 28-30. The group will include BKS, Marcarini, Michelon, NBN and Systemhaus.

Managing director for the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Leather and Footwear Machinery and Equipment (Abrameq) and coordinator of the mission, Marcelo Adriano, says: “This event is a major opportunity to show the world that Brazil is a first class supplier of state-of-the-art machines, equipment and automation systems for tanneries.”

He stresses that these products have undergone an impressive evolution and that new important partnerships between Brazilian and European machinery manufacturers have been established.
