Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw caused a sensation at the end of Parish Fashion Week when a leather bustier she was wearing as part of the Alexander McQueen show caused her to faint.
Ms Kershaw almost made it to the end of the catwalk, having shown off the terracotta coloured bustier with snake-effect ‘scales’ on the leather and three thong-style straps at the back. But just at the end she fainted, with friends saying later that the corset had been too tight.
She was carried back-stage by members of the McQueen production team and recovered quickly.
