22/09/2008

A Uruguayan magazine, Propaganda Rural, launched a new book called 'Uruguay, Livestock Breeders of the Americas' during the 103rd edition of Expo Prado, Uruguay's largest and most important agricultural and husbandry exhibition, which concluded on September 21 in Montevideo.

The publication, whose purpose is to become a “window for local breeders onto the world”, features historical and up-to-date material with details, photos and comments by company owners and personnel.

The book has 480 pages, over 1000 photos and information on the 142 livestock breeding farms in the country.

Expo Prado is now considered an international event with the participation of exhibitors from Mercosur and other countries from around the world who showcase their products—from cattle to machinery—for 10 days every year.
