Heim Leather celebrates

Heim Leather Chem is celebrating a successful first year under the ownership of Klaus Freund, grandson of the company’s founder.
Acquired by Rotta in 1999 and by DyStar in 2004, Heim Leather was subject to a management buy-out exactly one year ago, with Mr Freund taking up the role of president and chief executive.
He said the first year had gone “fantastically well”.
To coincide with the anniversary, the company has launched a new website (www.heimleather.com), with a wide range of images of fashion applications of leather, as well as information about fashion trends, and even background music.
He explained on announcing the new website: “We're not just showing details of products and lots of text. We're aiming at people who really love leather and we want them to keep them coming back to the site month after month.”
