Fernando Alonso donates boots

Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has become the latest top sports celebrity to make a donation to Spain’s national footwear museum in Elda, in the province of Alicante.
He handed in a pair of lined ankle boots in soft leather, with a thin layer of rubber on the soles, footwear typical of drivers in the sport and approved by its governing body, FIA.
