New pre-coating range from Clariant

Clariant has developed a new range of pre-coating products, grouping them together in a range it has called Melio Aquabase.
Within the range are classical upgrading pastes for hand application as well as products for application by reverse roller coating or spray technology for use on full grain, corrected grain and polished leathers.
The company said the main characteristics of the range were a high upgrading effect, high efficiency and the versatility stemming from the variety of application methods for which products are available. There are also products that are suitable for various types of leather and leathergoods (from garments to automotive upholstery). The range also includes products for buffing, plating or polishing, and products for covering defects from very shallow up to very deep.
