Revenues up 26% at Antichi Pellettieri

Italy-based luxury leather goods and footwear company Antichi Pellettieri Spa has reported revenue growth of 26% for the six-month period ended June 30.

Consolidated revenues were €169 million compared with €133.9 million in the first half 2007.

Growth was driven primarily by the performance of its footwear and handbags division, with Baldinini revenues up 43% and higher Coccinelle and Braccialini sales.

The emerging markets had a big impact on sales, with revenues for Russia and Eastern European markets up 34% and revenues in the Middle East up 30%. Domestic growth was also strong at 18%.
