Brazilian companies will pay tribute to their country and culture at Mode City in Paris. The Texbrasil Program, created by ABIT in partnership with Apex-Brasil, are preparing for the event, which takes place September 6-8.

Tereza Santos has styled the team, the models for which have been chosen to portray Brazil’s racial and cultural plurality. The soundtrack will feature big Brazilian names such as Jorge Ben Jor and Tim Maia.

“The accessories will all be of Brazilian stones mixed with seeds, vegetable leather, sandals with natural bone heels, colours and various prints, said team member Uiara Andrade. “The casting will have models with Brazilian style and attitude, swing and rhythm. And the video that will serve as a backdrop for the catwalk will have images of activity on Copacabana.”

Brands taking part in the Texbrasil program include: Anika Brasil, Bia Brazil, CCM, Feriado Nacional, Mina D’água, Sol e Energia and Via Tentação.
