Irish leather sales rise against the trend

The central statistics bureau has reported that the volume of Irish retail sales fell 5.2% year-over-year in June following a 5% fall in May.
Furniture and lighting retail sales saw the strongest declines, falling 18.7%, followed by books, newspapers and stationary sales, which fell 10.3%. However, leather and footwear sales rose 6.2% year-on-year.
Month-on-month retail sales fell 0.7% following a 1.2% fall in May.
