Higher leather goods exports for Pakistan

According to Pakistan’s federal bureau of statistics, the country’s totalled $102.4 million in July, down 0.2% compared with June, but up 4.1% year-on-year.

The breakdown showed that finished leather exports totalled $33.9 million, leather goods exports were $54.9 million and footwear exports were $13.684 million, compared with $35.9 million, $52 million and $14.7 million, respectively, in June. So, while finished leather exports fell 5.7% and footwear exports fell 7.1%, leather goods exports rose 5.5% on a monthly basis.
