US firm Universal Leather has appointed Joel Beckom to the newly created position of sales and product development manager.

Mr Beckom has been involved in the leather production business for quarter of a century. He most recently served as manager of manufacturing sales and technical services at Leather Master, a position he held for five years. He previously worked at Branaa Tannery in Uruguay, Leather Miracles and Lackawanna Leather.

Mr Beckom will report to the company’s president, Ken Kochekian.
