Pakistan and Korea to cooperate

The Korean delegation, led by first vice minister for foreign affairs and trade, Kwon Jong-Rak, met Pakistan’s acting foreign secretary, Khalid Aziz Babar, in Islamabad to discuss bilateral trade.
One of the options discussed was the possibility of concluding a free trade agreement. The attendees also talked about taking part in trade delegations and participating in exhibitions and trade fairs.
The new areas of cooperation identified during the talks include joint ventures and investments in leather, textiles, energy, education, agriculture, fisheries, IT and telecommunications sectors.
