Rustan to sell Samsonite travel goods

A subsidiary of Philippines-based Rustan Group, Specialty Investments, Inc. is to set up a joint venture with travel bags, luggage and accessories firm Samsonite Group.
The joint venture, which will be based in the Philippines, accelerates the vision of Samsonite president and CEO, Marcello Bottoli, who is looking to establish a strong presence across the globe. The company hopes this will lead to further expansion opportunities in the area.
The new company will distribute and sell travel goods with Mr Bottoli, and president Asia, Ramesh Tainwala, as directors.
