US-based leather chemicals firm Corporation has revealed that it will present new leather products at ACLE in Shanghai.

These include Lionproof SP-1, a silicone/polymer emulsion used to make waterproof leathers. According to the company, best results are produced when it is fixed with a metal salt after application. It is said to have excellent hydrophobic properties to give softness and water proofing with enhanced Maeser flexes.

The company will also present Lionsoft LCD-118, a fatliquor blended from bi-sulfited and sulfated oils with synthetic oils and natural waxes. It is normally used to make soft leathers such as bag, nappa, Nubuck, and shoe upper leathers.
