New activities at BIFF & BIL
A packed programme has been prepared for BIFF & BIL 2008 (the Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair), which will take place August 27-31 in Bangkok.
Among the main activities will be the Designers' Room, which will showcase works from up-and-coming designers. These will include: a group of 40 young designers with their own brands and less than eight years' experience; a group of 10 designers with their own brands and more than eight years' experience; and a group of 15 individuals or organisations offering a service in the fashion design and related fields such as freelance designers, industrial designers, international design professionals and fashion.
Other activities will include ‘Gear to US’, ‘Trend Forum T3’ and ‘BKK SMITH’, involving many organisations from the leather, footwear and textile sectors.
A forum will include discussions on topics such as fashion trends, the Japanese fashion market and logistics and supply chain in the USA.
