China Leather to repeat forum

The Chinese state leather industry promotions body, the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), has announced plans to host a second World Leather Industry Co-operation and Development forum in Shanghai on September 2.
The event took place last year for the first time, and CLIA has decided to hold it again, coincinding with the All China Leather Exhibition. It says unity in the global leather industry and identifying new opportunities for the sector are its main aims.
Speakers at the event will include Zhang Shuhua, the president of CLIA, as well as representatives of the footwear and chemical sectors.
