Leathergoods growth
23/07/2008
Sales of leathergoods in France rose again in June, even if by a smaller amount than in May. Sales in June were 0.6% higher than the previous month, whereas May's increase was 4.4%.
Nevertheless, the leather sector's June result is positive in a general economic environment, in which higher energy and food prices caused a decrease in household spending across the board of 0.4% compared to May.
