Dutch trading company Gerzon has acquired the leathergoods outlets that Mimex Airport Retailers runs at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

Gerzon will take over the operation of the stores on September 1 and would look very quickly to increase the number of employees and double the points of sale at the airport. It said the acquisition had gone ahead with the support of the Schiphol Airport authorities.

Managing director, Philip Gerzon, commented: “This acquisition presents us with the opportunity grow further along with the suppliers and to build upon the existing relationships.”
