Leather adds a touch of class—to chocolates

21/07/2008

Leather and hand-made silk combine to give a new assortment of chocolates, on sale at London department store Harrod’s for £5,000, a touch of class.

Lebanese chocolatier Patchi produced the chocolates. There are 49 sweets in the box, each hand-wrapped and nestling on an interior of suede, separated by gold and platinum linings.

Each chocolate is decorated with eighter a Swarovski crystal flower or a handmade silk rose.
