Lectra strengthens its partnership with Italian fashion

Technology provider Lectra has announced that it will once again partner Italy's National Chamber for Fashion in a project aimed at encouraging the next generation of designers.
The competition is open to young designers from all over Italy and the winners will have the chance to present their work at the Milan Fashion Week in September.
On announcing the initiative, the president of the Chamber, Mario Boselli, commented: “Designers can waste a lot of time on repetitive tasks that have little to do with their creative abilities. Solutions like Lectra's Kaledo applications, specifically conceived for the fashion industry, enable designers to focus on their principal task of designing original, innovative collections.”
