Visa warning

With the All China Leather Exhibition taking place in the first week in September, many people in the leather industry intending to travel to Shanghai for the event face the possibility of delays in obtaining visas.
The authorities in China have warned that the system in many countries for administering visas will be slower than normal because of the numbers of people travelling to China for the Olympic Games in August.
One Europe-based international event organiser has warned people planning to attend its events in China to act quickly to avoid problems, applying the advice to exhibitions it will hold in China up until the end of October.
