North African countries discuss mutual trade
10/07/2008
Thirty business leaders from Algeria and Tunisia held a one-day meeting in Tunis on July 10, aiming to promote trade between their countries.
Trade between them reached $675 million for the first five months of this year, with leather and leathergoods among the important products going from Tunisia to Algeria.
There are already 77 joint projects across all sectors and the organisers of the one-day event are hopeful of encouraging more.
