Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, has paid a one-day official visit to Vietnam as part of a tour of Asia.

His aim was to build on his country’s already strong trading relationship with Vietnam, with leather, steel, wood and paper among Brazil’s principal exports.
