Leather sector close to full capacity

The leather, footwear and textile sectors in Uruguay have the highest level of occupancy of full production capacity in the country.
Figures released for the first quarter of 2008 show that the overall level, 67% of full capacity, is in line with the measure taken for the last quarter of 2007.
But facilities producing leather, footwear and textiles are working at 87% of full capacity.
