Event promises big things

The organisers of the Courovisão leather exhibition have said the next edition, which next takes place in Novo Hamburgo from September 30 to October 2, will stand out for the developments in materials, technology and fashion that will be on show.
Central to what organising company Fenac hopes to achieve with this springtime show—which is to prepare the market for its main finished leathergoods event, Couromoda—is the high level of quality information about the market that will be available to Courovisão visitors.
For example, industry association Assintecal (the Brazilian Association of Footwear Component Manufacturers) will deliver a series of presentations entitled Inspirations Forum, showing the directions it believes leather fashion will take in 2009.
