Talks on trade ties

The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Pakistan Nurlan Aitmur-Zaev has asked the business community in the leather and footwear production centre of Sialkot to consider setting up strong trade ties with his country.
He addressed a meeting of Sialkot business leaders at the city's Chamber of Commerce and Industry on July 2, after visiting the several factories. He later said Sialkot-based manufacturers had a good opportunity to build up trade with Kyrgyzstan because the leathergoods, footwear, sports equipment and other items made in Sialkot were already popular in his country.
He suggested that there would also be opportunities for companies in Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan to set up joint ventures in different trade fields.
