eBay jacket: this time it’s above board

Less than two months after a French court fined online auction site eBay for allowing users to sell counterfeit leathergoods, another leather product on the site is turning heads.
This time, however, there is no legal threat—the sale is entirely legitimate and, what is more, will benefit a good cause.
The item is a black leather jacket, extra small in size and with a diagonal zip closure at the front. It was worn by film star Angelina Jolie in ’Wanted’ and she has authorised its sale to benefit Plan!t Now, a charity that helps communities prepare for disasters before they occur.
The starting bid the sellers suggested was $1,500.
