Furniture retailers harbour hope of cash injection

Struggling UK furniture retailers ScS Upholstery and Land of Leather have both announced plans to raise new capital.
The firms have seen their sales and share prices drop as a housing market slowdown has taken its toll on sales of important items such as leather.
