A consultant working in Brazil on behalf of India’s Council for Leather Exports (CLE), has told the Indian government that a number of Brazilian companies would be interested in setting up joint ventures with Indian companies to manufacture and import leather chemicals, leather soles and other footwear components.

The companies named are Formatek, Polly Quimica, Plinio Fleck, Curtume Bannach and Herval Quimica.
