Northern event hoping to double exhibitors

The organisers of the Meet at Agra Leather, Footwear Components & Technology Fair have said they hope this year’s event on November 17 and 18 will have 350 exhibitors, more than twice the number last year, when the exhibition took place for the first time.
The authorities have calculated that 25% of Agra’s population has connections to the footwear and leather sectors, plus two million overseas visitors a year. For this reason, the organisers felt an industry event for northern India, to complement the India International Leather Fair in Chennai, would work well.
