Indian footwear exports to double

The president of the Indian Footwear Components Manufacturer's Association (IFCOMA), B D Bhaiya,  has said the country's footwear exports will more than double in the next three years to $4.5 billion.

At the same time, he said India’s domestic footwear consumption was also rising, and that the country’s 2.65% share of the global leather and leathergoods markets would reach 5% in the same timeframe.
