TFL has launched a new filler product that it believes will benefit tanners by allowing them to give "fullness and roundness" to hides while maintaining a tight grain. It says the product, Sellasol FTF, will also provide "a good dispersing action" and make the dyeing process more effective.

At the same time, Sellasol FTF means tanners will have no need to make pH adjustments to make it work, as has happened with other filling agents, and it is free of formaldehyde, making it suitable for making automotive leather from wet white as well as wet blue hides.
