30/05/2008
Yemen’s ambassador to Pakistan, Abdul Elah M Hajar, has said that his country expects soon to be able to export hides and skins to Pakistan under the auspices of the Gulf Cooperation Council, of which it hopes to become a full member in the weeks ahead.
He said there were ample opportunities for the two countries to develop bilateral business and trade ties.
Speaking to the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the end of May, he said leathergoods and textiles represented a particularly good opportunity.
