Brazil's Centre for Tanning Industries (CICB) has issued figures that show leather exports from the country to have fallen in the first part of the year.
The figures show a 26% fall for the first four months of the year and a drop of 25% this April compared to the same month the year before. This April's total leather exports brought in $183 million.
