Le Cuir À Paris announces diversity

The organisers of Le Cuir À Paris expect more than 300 exibitors at the next edition of of the event, to be held from 23 to 26  September 23–26 in Hall 4 of the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord at Villepinte.

They point out that the number of Italian participants will be higher, with 13 newcomers as well as the return, after a period of absence, of Conceria Incas and Italhide.

Other first-time exhibitors will include JSC Vilniaus Kailai (Lithuania), Sri Sinn Fah Tannery (Thailand) and Tanneries Megisseries du Maghreb (Tunisia).

There will be eight national pavilions: the French Federation of Tanning; Assintecal and CICB (Brazil); Acexpiel (Spain); VDL (Germany); Agenzia di Promozione Economica della Toscana and Consorzio Italian Leather System (Italy) as well as APIC (the Portuguese Tanning Industry Association).

The components on display for the footwear sector will be more extensive with Omnipel (Italy) taking part for the first time, exhibiting its ‘Dry Best’ product range for technical linings and textiles for uppers with anti-odour, thermostatic and antibacterial characteristics.

Further, Gruppo GF (Italy) will complete the textile offering for interior design and furnishing, bags and saddlery.

Following the success of their first involvement in February, Exotics Valencia (Spain), Aromata (Italy), and Nova Kaeru and Couroquimica (Brazil) are coming back in September.

Like in each autumn-winter edition of the event, the presence of fur will be very important, with Saga Furs (Denmark), Yves Salomon (France), Panfur (Finland), CEO Orylag (France), Hispano Piel (Spain), Officina delle Pelli (Italy) and Serpelsa Furs (Spain) taking part.

For the forthcoming September edition of the show, Le Cuir À Paris is launching a brand new space called ‘Home Inspiration’. The organisers say it will be a prospective and conceptual space that will offer “a creative view of leather by building an inspirational bridge between the universes of fashion, home and interior design”.

Finally, three international designers will be present in the Designers’ Village of the event: Jacqueline Headlam (England) for leathergoods, Mado Luzayadio (France/England) for shoes and Yu Feng Zhao (China) for women’s clothing and fashion accessories.
